Hector is a student in the Combined Clinical/Counseling Psychology Ph.D. Program at USU. His research interests include examining the interactions between genetic and environmental risk factors that contribute to the conversion from mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to Alzheimer's Disease (AD). He is also interested in exploring the mediating factors (i.e., nutrition and sleep) that determine the rate of cognitive decline after AD conversion. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and playing sports!
