Mikaela is a doctoral student in the Combine Clinical/Counseling Psychology Ph.D. Program at Utah State University. Prior to attending USU, she received a BS in psychology and a BA in biology from the University of Missouri. Her research interests include examining factors that cause Alzheimer’s disease to present differently and progress at different rates in individuals as well as examining the link between traumatic brain injury and later cognitive decline. Mikaela enjoys exploring new places, traveling, hanging out with friends and family as well as snuggling with her dog.
